M¡SSMANAGED

MiSSMANAGED isn’t a band for the faint of heart. They're about facing life straight on with all its ups and downs, hits and misses, wins and heartbreaks. Forget therapy couches, MiSSMANAGED thrives on raw, untamed emotion, and their songs aren’t sugar-coated versions of their lives — they’re the soundtrack to sleepless nights, generational angst, feelings that get too loud, and teenage rebellion simmering just below the surface.

MiSSMANAGED is angry and passionate, and they're not afraid of telling things the way they are. They channel their frustrations into anthems for the misunderstood, the misfits, the dreamers who refuse to be silenced, and the forgotten who need to be heard. So crank up the volume, unleash your inner headbanger, and join the movement. Because sometimes, the best way to manage s#!t is with a deafening roar.

ABOUT THE BAND

In December of 2023, cousins Kaia (lead singer) and Kai (bassist) decided to start a rock band after doing a Seattle Drum School camp. They had previously pursued their musical passions separately, but they felt something click when they were learning classic rock songs together. To complete their roster, Kaia and Kai enlisted a School of Rock drummer, Camden, and a classmate of Kaia’s, Ian, on guitar. With Ian on hiatus (studying abroad), School of Rock guitarist, Liam, has joined! MiSSMANAGED (formerly Anger Management) had their first performance at the legendary Old Fire House Teen Center in Redmond, and at that moment, a band was born. Before long, their set included not just high-energy covers of iconic songs, such as Barracuda and Violet, but also hard-hitting originals. In January 2024, they released their first single, You’re Such A, an original about the feelings of rage you get when you’re wronged by someone you once considered a friend, followed by singles, Crushes Are Disgusting, Waiting for the Apocalypse, That's What You Get, Dumb and Blind, Pretty When I Lie, Seventeen and Stupid, Radio Silence, and more - they even released an eleven song CD! Some of the other shows they've played have been at Fremont Fridays, the Black Lodge, Vera Project, Kent Cornucopia, Zumiez' More Than Rolling event in Portland, Derby Days in Redmond (where they won Battle of the Bands), Georgetown Carnival, Redfellow Music Festival, Northwest Folklife, and Bellevue Downtown's 4th of July celebration. Their single, That's What You Get, debuted on 107.7 The End's Locals Only show with Steve Graham. They're building their following on social media, and prepping tons of new singles. Keep an eye out as they continue their journey!
